Environmental Review Tribunal Makes Right Decision
In a recent decision the Ontario Environmental Review Tribunal turned down a request by Aquafarms to remove nearly 12 billion litres of water from its property south west of Collingwood and to be keep to the 10 billion litres in the current 5 year term. This shows that maybe at last the amount being with drawn form the Georgian Bay water shed is being reviewed and we can stop the constant dropping of water levels in Georgian Bay. A future review may actually reduce the amount. We can only hope and keep up the pressure to protect our water..
